Day Kamp

There is nothing better than a day of play for social dogs. Canine guests are grouped by similar interests and activity levels for the best play experience. Each Day Kamp guest enjoys morning and afternoon play sessions with quiet time in between. However, Day Kamp is not for every dog. For our non-social guest, we offer Day Boarding as an alternative. All Day Boarding guests will enjoy one-on-one playtime with our staff.

Training

Training Philosophy

We love dogs and we work hard every day to make sure that they, along with their pet parents, all have a chance at a happy, stress-free life together! Our interest is teaching you humane techniques to train obedience cues and behaviors that ensure safe socialization and desired behaviors in most environments. As we have a diverse Training team composed of Trainers/Behaviorists from different backgrounds we do not have a one-size-fits-all approach. We train the dog in front of us through several scientifically proven methodologies depending on the Trainer/Behaviorist. Whatever your goals or challenges may be, we feel confident that a member of our Training team will fit your personal style and needs/wants.

Our Team

Nofo Lilo

Our lead trainer, Nofo Lilo, has an extensive background in dog training that was obtained through an 11-year career in the U.S. Airforce, Canine Division and four years as a personal trainer, post-military. Nofo approaches training from the stance of developing dogs that work efficiently under a multitude of circumstances. This is achieved using a balanced style of training that blends the use of both positive reinforcement in conjunction with the use of tools such as prong collars.

Eli Casey

Eli dedicated himself to honing his skills as a Dog Trainer by attending a one year apprenticeship program where he both observed and attained hands-on experience while working with a wide array of breeds and temperaments. Now, 3 years into his training career, Eli has sought to bring his expertise to the training team at Kamp K-9, all while continuing to pursue a deeper understanding of his craft under the mentorship of our lead trainer, Nofo. Eli employs a balanced approach to training, implementing the use of reward based teaching methods as well as corrective methods through the use of prong and e-collars.
